About Lark Valley Willow
Liz is an established sculptor working mainly in metal and stone. Always keen to work with new materials Liz went on a course at Writtle College and learned how to make willow hurdles. This was to be the beginning of Lark Valley Willow.

Chris runs a successful landscaping business. Liz, realising there was a demand for continuous willow fencing encouraged Chris to offer clients bespoke in–situ willow fencing. From a slow start the demand for fences has grown to the point where we often have a waiting list.
Enjoying working with willow together has led to further courses and an expansion of products on offer. They went on a weekend basket-making course in Norfolk where they were taught to make their first baskets by Adrian Charlton.
Several years later and Chris is now apprenticed to Adrian – going to see him once a month - learning traditional English basket making techniques.
From making continuous fencing Liz and Chris moved on to making hurdles for private clients and also supplying wholesale outlets. Year by year the range offered continues to grow and now includes plant supports, bird pouches, trelliswork and a range of baskets.
This year Liz and Chris and Yvonne decided to form Lark Valley Willow. They attend local farmers markets, craft fairs and demonstrate at local shows. Liz also runs workshops where you can, spend a relaxing morning learning to make hanging baskets, plant supports and wreaths.
