Suffolk MIND have a new allotment in Haverhill.  They are busy preparing the soil for planting and growing with the help of the RHS.  We were commissioned to build a woven willow tree seat for the site  Step one: Mark out an inner circle:

Step two:  Weave the inner circle with the help of Castle Manor school:

Step three: Mark out the outer circle with the help of Suffolk MIND:

Step four: Weave outer circle:

And hey presto ready to be filled with soil and planted on the top with grass or chamomile – may need to neaten off the uprights before attempting to sit on it!
